Volunteers from the Baden VFD provided a 3rd alarm response to the City of Aliquippa early Sunday morning.

At 03:39, Tower 47, Rescue 47, and Squad 47 were dispatched as part of the third alarm assignment (Box 91-1) for a commercial structure fire in the City of Aliquippa.

Units responded with 14 volunteers and provided accountability and safety functions as well as supplementing the teams from units already on scene.  The crew of Tower 47 secured its own water supply, and quickly put into place aerial master-stream operations on the Franklin Avenue side.  Tower 47 flowed over 800gpm for nearly 3 hours.

47 units remained on scene for approximately five hours before returning to service.
