Rescue 47, Engine 47-1, and Engine 47-2 arrived on scene with Economy EMS and Baden and Harmony PD units. Rescue crews quickly stabilized the vehicle and began to extricate the patient through the rear of the vehicle while Economy EMS crews evaluated and immobilized the patient.

Extrication was complete within several minutes, and the patient was taken via ambulance to a nearby landing zone where he was then flown via STAT MedEvac to UPMC Presby.
