Baden, Chippewa, Pulaski and Daugherty fire departments, along with New Brighton Area police and paramedics, responded to an accident on 43rd Street across from the entrance to New Brighton High School in Pulaski Township on Friday afternoon.
Those involved in the rescue operation extricated 77-year-old Donna McClintock of North Sewickley Township from her vehicle and then used a basket to pull her up to the top of the steep hillside.
Authorities said McClintock had pulled into the school parking lot because she thought there was mechanical problem and then lost control when backing up.
