2011 has been a big year for the Baden Volunteer Fire Department. Most notably, many firefighters have been training all year for their Firefighter 1 certification. We are proud to recognize the following on their accomplishments:

Firefighters will continue into 2012 training for their Firefighter I and the department will also push for the above to continue to their Firefighter II trainings.
Our call volume has remained average, as compared to previous years, with the department responding to a total or 109 incidents both in and out of town. The department responded to 14 motor vehicle accidents with entrapment, and also responded to 7 technical rescue calls.
There have been a couple of changes to the leadership structure of the department. This year, members voted to expand the Captain and Lieutenant line officer positions into a Truck/Rescue Captain and Truck/Rescue Lieutenant, and an Engine Captain and Engine Lieutenant.
