This Explorers program is open to young men and women ages 14 (andcompleted the 8th grade) through 20years old with an interest in learning more about careers in the field of Fire & Emergency Services.

You will develop: Leadership and personal skills.

You will learn: Emergency protocols, firefighting SOPs, team building, and equipment training.

Fire & Emergency Service Career Exploring provides the following benefits: Improved self-confidence, leadership experience and social network development, fun and exciting “hands-on” career experiences, community service opportunities, College & Career Readiness preparation, and scholarship opportunities.

Fire & Emergency Services Exploring is a hands-on program that exposes participants to many career experiences, leadership opportunities, and community service activities. The primary goals of the program are to help young adults choose a career pathwithin fire and emergency services and to challenge them to become responsible citizensof their communities and country.

Come to our OPEN HOUSE at the Baden VFD on Wednesday, October 12th, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. This will include a tour of the fire station, our apparatus and equipment, and a presentation from current Firematics and firefighters and department officers. Pizza and refreshments will be provided.
