Engine 471 was ordered new in 2001 and delivered in 2002. Engine 471 is the primary fire attack unit and annually the busiest unit in the station. Engine 471 responds first due to all structure fires, brush and trash type fires, fire alarms, gas leaks, and any other fire related call. It also responds second to all auto accidents and all other rescue related incidents. Engine 471 carries a vast array of attack lines, 6 of which are pre-connected. Engine 471 carries 6 firefighters, and is equipped with (but not limited to) the following equipment:

Engine 472 was ordered new in 1983 and delivered in 1984. Engine 472 is the second out fire attack unit. Engine 472 responds first due to all structure fires out of the borough, and 4th due on all other calls Engine 472 carries a 3 pre-connected attack lines. It also carries a portable dump tank and has jet dump capabilities. Engine 472 carries 6 firefighters, and is equipped with (but not limited to) the following equipment:

RESCUE 47-9 2005 Pierce Saber
Rescue 47 is a heavy rescue unit designed, built, and purchased new in 2004 and delivered in 2005. The officers and members of the department designed this rig to be the best of its kind and function with pure efficiency. It is fully equipped with a tool for every situation. Rescue 47 is the primary Rescue Company for Baden and many surrounding areas. Rescue 47 responds first due to all vehicle accidents, as well as all specialized/technical rescue calls and 2nd due to all mutual aid fires. Rescue 47 responds to structure fires, fire alarms, and any other fire related call to supplement the operations of the Truck Company. The rescue also, pulls the Technical Rescue Trailer and responds as part of the Regional Rescue Task Force to all calls for Vehicle/Machine rescue, High/Low angle rope rescue, Structural Collapse, Confined Space, and Trench Rescue.
Rescue 47 is a traveling “toolbox” and carries a multitude of tools and equipment for fire and rescue situations including (6) pre-connect Hurst hydraulic rescue tools connected to two Tri-mo hydraulic pumps, multiple saws, and hand tools typically found on a Truck Company. Rescue 47 carries 6 firefighters (all of whom must be qualified on its use to be able to ride the rig), and is equipped with (but not limited to) the following equipment:

TOWER 47 1984 E One
Tower 47 was purchased in 2008 after it was retired from the USAF and stationed at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. Tower 47 is the primary Truck Company for Baden and surrounding areas. Tower 47 responds second to all structure fires, fire alarms, and any other fire related call as well as all special rescue calls in town and 1st due to all mutual aid fires. Tower 47 carries a multitude of tools and equipment for fire and rescue situations including multiple saws, multiple fans, a full compliment of ground ladders, salvage tarps, and hand tools typically found on a Truck Company. Tower 47 carries 5 firefighters (all of whom must be truck company trained on its use and tactics to be qualified to ride the truck), and is equipped with (but not limited to) the following equipment:

SQUAD 47-5 2000 Ford F-350 Super Duty
Squad 475 is a 2000 Ford F-350 Super Duty. This Diesel pick-up can serve as a command unit or be used to transport manpower to and from emergency scenes. Also, this truck contains equipment for brush fires including forestry hose, Indian packs and rakes. This rig also pulls the Technical Rescue Trailer when needed.
TECHNICAL RESCUE TRAILER 20' Cargo Trailer
Technical 47 Trailer is equipped with a complete Airshore USAR complement of struts, and accessories used for structural collapse and trench rescue. The trailer also carries a variety of lumber for shoring, ground pads, and Finn-form trench panels.
